November Holiday Day Camp: AM Session, A Turkey Named Bert
We had so much fun during our Turkey themed session this morning. Our day started off in Art creating beautiful painted Turkey's.

Sketching our Turkey's features.
Adding color with paint to make our Turkey's pop.
We used markers to give our turkey's fantastic faces.
Mrs. Martinez teaching us how to make our turkey feet.
Helping each other add the legs and feet.
In music we continued our Turkey theme by learning more about Bert the Turkey. Watch as we perform his dance!
We also learned a traditional American line dance with a seasonal name, Turkey in the Straw. Here is a recording of the music. Ask your child to show you how to do this dance.
As a group we created sound effects to help tell a holiday story. Listen to what we created.
